Description
You’ll be at the heart of our recycling mission, responsible for the safe, compliant collection and transportation of goods from customer sites to Enva facilities. Every day brings variety as you support customers on-site, making sure their waste is stored correctly in approved containers and offering expert guidance when needed. You’ll be the go-to Enva representative, relaying any additional requirements to internal teams and keeping operations running smoothly.
On the road, you’ll uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism, maintaining full adherence to all traffic legislation as you deliver an exceptional service that customers trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a vital role in keeping our customers safe, our operations running smoothly, and our environmental mission moving forward.
- In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you’ll be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of all waste materials, ensuring every load is handled with care, professionalism, and full compliance.
- You’ll operate equipment confidently and safely, carrying out pre- and post-use checks and reporting any issues promptly to keep standards high.
- You’ll make sure waste is loaded securely, spillages are dealt with immediately, and all ADR regulations for transporting dangerous goods are followed to the letter.
- As a trusted operator of an Enva vehicle, you’ll comply with all legal, company, and Tachograph requirements, maintaining a strong safety culture at all times.
- Your vehicle will be your pride — you’ll complete daily checks, keep it clean, and report any damage or incidents before leaving site.
- You’ll also handle paperwork accurately and efficiently, ensuring seamless communication and compliance.
- On customer sites, you’ll be the key point of contact, representing Enva positively and professionally.
- You’ll identify additional customer needs, communicate them to your line manager, and ensure all site-specific safety, security, and operational rules are followed.
- You’ll proactively report near misses or safety concerns, helping us maintain the highest standards across both customer and Enva locations.
- And when needed, you’ll support the wider team with additional duties, contributing to a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
