Driver Hire Bournemouth & Salisbury is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) Drivers for regular, flexible work with reputable local businesses across Bournemouth and Poole.
Choose the days you work and take on as many or as few shifts as suit you.
Whether you’re looking to earn extra money, work around family commitments, reduce your hours or enjoy semi-retirement, we can help find shifts that work for you.
HGV Temp-to-Perm opportunities are also available if you’re looking for something more permanent.

💷 Pay Rates
- Days: £16.81–£17.93 per hour
- Nights & Saturdays: £18.77–£20.17 per hour
- Sundays & Bank Holidays: £20.73–£21.29 per hour

🚛 What you’ll be doing
Assignments vary depending on your licence and experience and may include:
- HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving
- HGV Class 2 (C) driving
- 7.5 Tonne (C1) driving
- Trunking and multi-drop deliveries
- Loading and unloading where required
- Providing professional customer service
No two assignments are the same, giving you variety while keeping you close to home.
✅ What you’ll need
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E), Class 2 (C) or C1 licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 12 months’ HGV driving experience (recent or previous)
- Own transport to travel to assignments
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- No DR, DD or IN endorsements
