Are you a dependable, customer-focused HGV Driver who takes pride in doing the job properly? Looking to join a busy, supportive team where your role keeps the branch and our customers moving every day?

We’re looking for a professional Class 2 Driver to join us at AW Lumb & Co in Mansfield. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the operation — delivering building materials safely, efficiently and with great service, every time.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering a wide range of building materials to customer sites across the region
  • Loading and unloading vehicles and ensuring accurate stock movement
  • Operating a Moffett (preferred) safely and in line with all regulations
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • Keeping your vehicle clean, safe and well presented
  • Providing a professional, friendly experience for every customer
  • Completing delivery paperwork and handling returns correctly
  • Supporting the wider branch and yard team when needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence and Driver CPC
  • Moffett licence preferred, or willingness to train
  • Counterbalance forklift licence is an advantage
  • Experience in a multi-drop delivery role
  • A strong focus on safety, service and teamwork
  • Good knowledge of local routes and safe delivery practices
  • Reliable, organised and calm under pressure
  • High standards of timekeeping and presentation
  • Right to work in the UK

Hours: 6.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Holiday: 22 days plus Bank Holidays
