WPRG Ltd is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work with a well-established client based in Leyton, E10.
If you're a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver with double deck trailer experience, this is an excellent opportunity to secure regular, ongoing work with competitive pay and a supportive transport team.

The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering fresh bakery products to retail stores while providing a professional and reliable service.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
- Delivering baked goods to retail stores
- Safely unloading trays at delivery locations
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time
- Completing daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
- Complying with driver hours, tachograph, and road transport regulations
- Operating double deck trailers
Shift Information
- Start times between 04:00 and 09:00
- Flexibility to start within these times is essential
- Average 10-12 hour shifts
- Paid breaks on every shift
- Weekend working is required
Pay
- PAYE (Holiday Pay Accrued)
- £19.22 per hour
- Holiday pay accrued at 13% on top of your hourly rate
What We're Looking For
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences only (No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements)
- Minimum of 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Previous experience operating double deck trailers is essential
- Good understanding of driver hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations
- Good communication skills and a basic understanding of English
- A reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
- Applicants must be 25 years or over for insurance purposes
