Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Tanker Engineer to join our Rainham Depot. This role involves identifying defects and blockages within the sewer network and using high-pressure water jetting to clean and clear.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off shift Pattern Nights

As a HGV Tanker Engineer, You Will

  • Operate HGV-mounted vacuum and tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.
  • Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high-quality work.
  • Communicate professionally with customers.
  • Accurately complete job reports and system updates.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.
  • Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory compliance.

Experience And Qualifications Required For The Role

  • HGV Class 2 licence, with no more than 3 penalty points ideally.
  • A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable.
  • Competent in using an electronic device – laptop / tablet for data entry.
