Job Role
- Reporting to: Transport Manager
- Position: HGV Driver
- Shifts: Various shifts available, including weekends
- Opportunity: Additional days when required
We use modern DAF and Renault tractor units with the latest truck technology, prioritizing driver comfort and safety. We invest in trailers and maintain them through a robust preventative maintenance program managed by our own HGV Workshop.
Job Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and HGV C+E licence (Class 1)
- At least 2 years experience on articulated trucks
- Willingness to spend nights out
- Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Work within legal parameters of drivers' hours legislation
- Drive carefully and safely, acting as ambassadors for the business
- Good communication skills
- Work as part of a team
- Understand and share verbal instructions in English
- Willingness to work variable hours
- Flexibility to business needs
- Full cooperation and awareness of company Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
