HGV Driver / Warehouse Operative – £33,800 per annum

Are you an experienced HGV driver looking to spend less time on the road? Would you enjoy a varied role where you can combine driving with hands-on warehouse work in a friendly team?

If you’re ready for a change from long days behind the wheel, this could be a great next move.

The role

We are looking for an HGV Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our dedicated Logistics Team. This is not a typical HGV driving role. You’ll spend around two hours each day driving, with trips of less than 200 meters between our facilities. The rest of your shift will be spent working alongside the warehouse team.

As an HGV Driver / Warehouse Operative, you’ll enjoy plenty of variety, regular Monday-to-Friday hours and much less time on the road.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Transporting goods safely between our facilities
  • Receiving incoming goods
  • Picking and packing orders
  • Preparing items ready for dispatch
  • Checking goods and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting general warehouse activities
  • Keeping a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
