Monday – Friday, starting at approximately 6:00am
Position:
Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a well-established company based in Horley, delivering logs, coal and kindling to customers across the local area.
The majority of deliveries are made to domestic households, with occasional commercial deliveries also required.
The Role
- Monday to Friday work
- Start times are usually around 6:00am
- Approximately 10 deliveries per day
- Delivering logs, coal and kindling
- Predominantly residential deliveries, with some commercial work
- Loading and unloading products at customer premises
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
- Completing relevant delivery paperwork

The Ideal Candidate
- Hold a valid Class 2 (LGV Cat C) licence
- Have a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries would be an advantage
- Physically fit, as the role involves loading/unloading and handling products
- Good customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Comfortable working independently and managing a daily delivery schedule
