As we expand our operational teams, we are now recruiting an HGV Jetting Team Leader to support and guide Operatives in delivering exceptional customer service, first-class safety standards, and innovative operational solutions across North and Central Wales.

As an experienced Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading an operative to deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient wastewater network services across the region. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance, driving exceptional performance, and acting as the senior point of contact on site.

About the Role

  • Salary: up to £16.50 per hour depending on experience
  • Working Hours: 45 per week (1 in 4 on call duties)
  • Location: Kinmel Bay (north wales)

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the HGV CityFlex unit, including high-pressure jetting and CCTV inspection equipment
  • Working as part of a 2 person team
  • Operating high specification jetting equipment and vacuumation units
  • Work projects including any drainage related issues including blockage clearances, pipe cleansing programmes and emergency reactive works
  • Ensure full compliance with all required Health and Safety requirements
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to guarantee roadworthiness and report any issues
  • Maintain high standards of equipment care, ensuring all tools, machinery, and PPE are safe and fit for purpose

Experience & Qualifications

Desirable unless stated as required

  • HGV Class 2 licence – Required
  • Full UK Driving Licence – Required
  • Experience leading small teams or mentoring operatives (preferred)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident working with technology and electronic reporting tools
  • Additional training (beneficial but not essential):
    • Water Jetting Association Red/Blue Book
    • Banksman
    • Manual Handling
    • Emergency First Aid
    • NRSWA
    • EUSR National Water Hygiene
    • Asbestos Awareness
    • CPC Driver Training (HGV only)
    • Slinger & Signaller
    • Abrasive Wheels
