HGV Mechanic Worsley
Are you a skilled HGV Mechanic looking for a stable, long-term opportunity? Careermakers Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a reputable company based in Worsley. This role offers competitive pay, ongoing work and excellent career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Minimise vehicle downtime through efficient repairs and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For:
- Previous HGV Mechanic experience is essential
- Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time-served HGV Mechanic (formal qualifications not required)
Pay Rates (Depending on Experience):
- £14.00 per hour for 1 year's HGV mechanic experience
- £15.50 per hour for 2 to 4 years' HGV mechanic experience
- £17.50 per hour for 5+ years' HGV mechanic experience with strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
