HGV Technician
Fleet Maintenance Services LTD – Heywood, Greater Manchester
Salary: Competitive – among the best in the area + overtime
Fleet Maintenance Services LTD is a well-established and rapidly growing HGV maintenance provider based in Heywood, Greater Manchester.
Due to continued growth and exciting new long-term contracts, we are looking for 2 experienced HGV Technicians to join our expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician looking for long-term job security, excellent earning potential, and genuine opportunities to develop their career.
The Role
You’ll be working in our modern, well-equipped workshop carrying out:
- HGV servicing, maintenance, and repairs
- Truck and trailer repairs
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Preventative maintenance
- General mechanical repairs
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in HGV repair and maintenance
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with trucks and/or trailers
- A proactive can-do attitude
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred, but not essential for the right person
- HGV licence advantageous but not essential

Hours
- Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability
