HGV Mechanic, Nuneaton, Days, £38,000 - £44,000

Days role Monday Friday with the odd Saturday morning (spread across the team).

Competitive base salary dependent on experience + Overtime availability + 25 days holiday + pension + Training & Development Opportunities (e.g., IRTEC).

  • A mechanically biased HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Fitter.
  • Strong background in servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on HGVs or heavy vehicles.
  • Level 3 qualified (NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI)
  • IRTEC accreditation (desirable but not essential).
  • Someone local to Nuneaton.

This HGV Mechanic role will involve:

  • Servicing, inspections, MOT prep, and reactive repairs.
  • Fault finding and diagnostics on HGVs and trailers.
  • Welding and fabrication work where needed.
  • Completing job cards and maintenance records.
  • Supporting breakdown and roadside repairs when required.
