An excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a well-established company.
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
Salary: Competitive Salary, Depending on Experience.
Location: Wickford SS11.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 7.00am-4.00pm (including 1 hour lunch). 45 hours per week.

About The Role:
The company are looking for the right, motivated, individual who will thrive in a customer driven, future focused, proactive and friendly environment to join their busy transport team in the role of Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Mechanic based at their Wickford depot. Key Duties:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers, to VOSA standards. Therefore, excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and industry experience and knowledge is key. Holding IRTEC Accreditation is desirable but not essential.
- Candidates will also be required to maintain a high standard of housekeeping, as well as conduct cosmetic repairs, which is likely to include painting and welding. The company operate a fleet of new DAF trucks. A Class 1 C+E licence would be an advantage, but not essential.
