Role And Responsibilities
- Maintenance and servicing of the HGV and LGV vehicles in the fleet
- Carry out maintenance work on a mixed fleet of DAF and IVECO trucks
- Working on engine mechanics, vehicle electrics, hydraulics, gearboxes
- Minor maintenance and repairs of forklift trucks
- Ensure that all vehicles are inspected and meet DVSA MOT requirements
- Working on own initiative and as part of a team
- Complete all service schedule paperwork

Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Previous experience of working on commercial vehicles and HGV fleet
- Experience working on trucks, tractor engines, trailers within a fleet maintenance operation
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or similar)
- Beneficial if hold a Class 1 or 2 driving licence
- Must have UK Driving Licence
- Good knowledge of vehicle electrics for fault diagnostics
- Excellent communication skills
- Previously worked with hydraulics and gearboxes
- Any experience of servicing and maintaining forklifts would be beneficial
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
