Role Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced HGV Fitter/Mechanic to work at their workshop based in Richmond. This is a long-term contract position with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repairs on vans/HGVs and minibuses.
- Familiarity with carrying out routine Safety Inspections on HGVs in line with DVSA standards.
- Preparing HGVs for annual MOT.
- Knowledge of both petrol and diesel engines would be an advantage.
- Ability to complete detailed maintenance inspection reports in line with DVSA regulations.
- Ability to use engine diagnostic equipment is an advantage.

Requirements
- Class 4 and 7 MOT qualification not essential, however, this would be an advantage.
- Clean driving licence with Category C (HGV entitlement).

Working Hours
- 07:30-16:30 Mon - Fri (40 hours per week).
- 1 hour for lunch break.
