HGV Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver
Looking for a driving role where you’re home every day, work with a modern fleet, and play a key role in keeping Norfolk’s construction projects moving?
We’re recruiting for Class 2 Concrete Mixer Drivers to join a leading construction materials business. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV driver or those with aggregates experience looking to broaden their skills. The role involves delivering ready-mix concrete safely and efficiently while providing outstanding customer service.

The Role
As a Concrete Mixer Driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering ready-mix concrete to a variety of customer sites across the region. You’ll work closely with transport planners, site teams and customers to ensure deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time.
You’ll be representing the business on-site, maintaining high standards of customer service while ensuring all deliveries are completed in line with transport, safety and environmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 concrete mixer vehicle
- Deliver concrete to construction, commercial and residential sites throughout Norfolk & Suffolk
- Build positive relationships with customers and site teams
- Complete vehicle checks and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy
- Work closely with the transport team to maximise delivery efficiency
- Ensure all deliveries comply with legal, health & safety and environmental requirements
- Complete all relevant paperwork and delivery records accurately
- Maintain excellent standards of professionalism at all times
- Support the wider transport operation with a flexible approach when required

What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Current Driver CPC qualification
- Previous HGV driving experience
- Positive and professional attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good knowledge of the local Norfolk and Suffolk area
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience delivering concrete or aggregates
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends when required
