Location: Ivybridge, PL21 9PE
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Are you organised, customer-focused, and ready to support a busy parts operation? We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Parts Person to join our Aftermarket team in Ivybridge.
In this varied role, you will assist with ordering and processing parts for engineers, depots, and contracts, while supporting the Parts Advisor with sales and customer service. You will play a key role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock & Administration: Administer stock control for mobile service vans, site workshops, and active contracts.
- Order Processing: Process parts orders accurately and efficiently, assisting with parts identification and managing warranty or returns processes.
- Team & Customer Support: Assist the team with customer orders, tracking backorders, and coordinating special deliveries.
- Operational Standards: Maintain a clean, organised work area, assist with regular audits/stock checks, and operate within company guidelines.
- Service Delivery: Respond to customer enquiries professionally and promptly to keep their operations moving.

What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Proven administration and customer service experience. Previous experience in workshop or parts control is highly desirable.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience within HGV, waste industry, transport, or service centre environments is a distinct advantage.
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and IT skills (specifically proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel).
- Attributes: A results-driven team player who can work independently, stay focused under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexibility: Comfortable moving between local office areas, occasionally entering/exiting vehicles, and willing to work overtime when required.
