Join SUEZ and Help Create a Better Future! We are hiring for an experienced or newly qualified driver specialising in RORO, Skip, FEL or Tanker Driving.

About The Role

Location: Merebank Road, Avonmouth, Bristol, BS11 8AQ

Salary: £37,978.76 per annum

Hours: 45 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Start Time: 04:30am (typically finishing around 14:00pm)

Overtime Available:

  • 1.5x pay Monday to Saturday
  • Double time plus a day in lieu, or triple pay depending on circumstances
  • Full PPE Provided

What You'll Be Doing

As a Skip, RORO, FEL and Tanker Driver, you'll be responsible for collecting and transporting industrial and commercial waste and recyclables across customer sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and professionally.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Operating Skip, Roll-On Roll-Off (RORO), Front End Loader (FEL) and Tanker vehicles.
  • Providing outstanding customer service at every collection point.
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles remain roadworthy.
  • Working in line with customer and company Health & Safety procedures.
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and reporting requirements accurately.
  • Representing SUEZ professionally while onsite and on the road.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for professional drivers who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering excellent service.

Essential Requirements

  • LGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • Valid Tachograph Card
  • Strong focus on safety and customer service
  • Reliable, hardworking and a positive team player

Desirable Experience

  • Waste and recycling industry experience.
  • Experience operating Skip, RORO, FEL or Tanker vehicles.
  • Knowledge of industrial and commercial waste collections.

Don't worry if you don't have experience across all vehicle types. Comprehensive training will be provided, giving you the opportunity to broaden your skills and gain valuable experience operating a range of specialist vehicles.
