Full Training Provided | Wolverhampton + Nationwide Work

Doctor Air Brake Ltd is growing, and we're looking for a technically minded person to join our team as an HGV Safety Systems Installation Engineer.

This isn't just another vehicle installation job.

You'll be trained to work with specialist HGV braking, electronic and vehicle safety technology, installing and commissioning systems designed to help prevent accidents and protect drivers, pedestrians and fleets.

About Doctor Air Brake

Founded in the early 1990s, Doctor Air Brake Ltd has grown from a specialist in HGV air brake and ABS fault finding into a leading provider of commercial vehicle diagnostics, braking and safety technology.

We develop and supply specialist systems including ReverseSmart, Impact Auto-Brake and Park Brake Warning, alongside a range of diagnostic and vehicle safety technologies.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who wants to build a career and become a specialist in this area of commercial vehicle engineering.

The Role

You'll initially be based at our Wolverhampton HQ, where you'll complete a structured training programme covering our products, HGV electrical systems, braking technology, diagnostics and installation standards.

Once trained, you'll work nationwide at customer sites, installing, configuring and commissioning our systems on trucks, trailers and specialist vehicles.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
