Location: Chesterfield (S44)
Pay: Up to £22.95 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off
Job Type: 12 Week Temp to Perm Opportunity
365 People are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Shunter Drivers to join our client on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and experienced HGV drivers looking for regular ongoing work, a consistent shift pattern, and competitive rates of pay.
The Role
As an HGV Shunter Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Moving HGV vehicles and trailers safely around the site
- Positioning trailers correctly for loading and unloading
- Carrying out yard movements as required
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- Ensuring all movements are carried out safely and efficiently

Pay Rates
PAYE
- Monday to Friday: £16.50 per hour excluding holiday pay / £17.93 including holiday pay
- Saturday: £17.48 per hour excluding holiday pay / £19.59 including holiday pay
- Sunday: £18.98 per hour excluding holiday pay / £21.17 including holiday pay
LTD Company Drivers
- Monday to Friday: £20.95 per hour
- Saturday: £21.95 per hour
- Sunday: £22.95 per hour

Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Previous HGV shunting or yard experience is preferred
- Good understanding of vehicle safety and yard procedures
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Pattern
- 4 days on / 4 days off
- Regular ongoing work
- Full training and site induction provided where required
- AM & PM start times available
