Location: Stockport
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 4 on / 4 off
Hours: 7pm - 7am
Salary: up to £52,000 plus overtime

Role Overview:
Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic, or HGV Technician living in the Stockport area, looking for a workshop-based role? Are you looking for a Night Shift on a 4 on / 4 off basis, working hours 7pm - 7am?
This role offers up to £52,000 per year plus overtime. The position is permanent and full-time.

Role Responsibilities:
You will be working on a variety of tractor and trailer units of differing makes and models, of differing ages, and possibly the odd tanker. You will be carrying out inspections to a varied and diverse fleet and you can expect to be situated in a positive and vibrant working environment.

The type of work as an HGV Technician you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to):
- Routine (and preventative) maintenance
- MOT preparation
- Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
- 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
- Improvement of vehicle standards
- Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections
Requirements:
Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ, or equivalent. Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable but not essential.
