Now Recruiting HGV Technicians
We are currently recruiting HGV Technicians to join our fantastic team at our Boroughbridge depot. Our BRAND NEW DEALERPOINT is NOW OPEN.
Shift Pattern:
- Week 1: 06:30 – 15:00
- Week 2: 14:00 – 22:30
- Alternate Saturdays: 08:00 – 16:00
The Role:
As part of our skilled and supportive team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality service and maintenance for our customers. As an HGV Technician, you will carry out fault diagnosis, service, and repairs to Volvo standard. You will complete repair order write-ups, service report sheets, and production card information. The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and actively seek solutions to problems. Good verbal communication skills are essential, and providing excellent customer service is paramount.

Requirements:
- Qualifications required: City & Guilds part 1 & 2 / BTEC / IMI (or equivalent) in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry (or similar environment).
- HGV Licence advantageous but not essential.
