HGV Technician - Broxburn
Salary: Competitive + OVERTIME + BONUS + PLUS £3000 SIGNING ON BONUS!!

Shift Pattern:
Dayshift Hours Mon - Frid
- Mon – Thurs 6am – 2.30pm
- Friday 6am – 1.30pm
Backshift Hours Mon – Friday
- Mon – Thurs 2pm -10.30pm
- Friday 1pm -8.30pm
Saturday Shift is on a Rota 7am – Noon**1 shift every 4 weeks ***

YOU WILL HAVE:
- A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Our Technicians are responsible carrying out regular MOT service inspections on a wide range of manufacturers’ trucks. Fault finding, carrying out repairs on engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension systems etc.
- Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process
- Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
- Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
- Assist with roadside breakdowns.
- Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
- Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
- Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained
- Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
