Job Title: HGV Technician / LGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
Location: Leicester, LE8 6LH
Fully onsite, no travel required
Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 17:00. No weekend or bank holiday working.
About Us
Truck Doctor has been servicing and repairing a wide range of large commercial vehicles for over 10 years, working out of our independent commercial garage in Whetstone, Leicester. We pride ourselves on doing the job right the first time, minimizing downtime and keeping customers happy.
Our team works across all makes and models of commercial vehicles, carrying out DVSA 6-8 weekly inspections, pre-MOT checks and full MOTs, plus major and minor repairs of all kinds. This is a fully garage-based role - there's no attending breakdowns or off-site work, so you can expect a genuine work-life balance alongside varied, hands-on work in a well-equipped facility.

About The Role
As HGV/LGV Technician, your main duties will include:
- Carrying out safety inspections
- MOT preparations
- General repairs
- Servicing
About You
- Minimum of 3 years on-the-job experience
