HGV Mechanic - Night Shift
Location: Hounslow
Salary: £54,912 annual basic (£22.00 per hour), plus overtime
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: 12-hour night shifts - 4 on, 4 off, followed by 4 on, 2 off
Benefits: Overtime at £27.50 per hour, 28 days' holiday including bank holidays and on-site parking

About the Role
ISQ Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a busy commercial fleet maintenance operation based near Heathrow Airport.
Working as part of the night-shift maintenance team, you will service, inspect and repair heavy commercial vehicles, helping to keep the fleet safe, compliant and operational.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Completing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Completing repairs efficiently and to the required standard
- Identifying and reporting additional defects
- Maintaining accurate job and maintenance records
- Working safely within workshop and airside procedures

What We're Looking For
To be considered for this HGV Mechanic position, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience servicing and repairing HGVs or heavy commercial vehicles
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
- The ability to work permanent 12-hour night shifts
- A dependable and safety-conscious approach
- A clean, fully checkable history that meets airport pass requirements
What's On Offer
- £54,912 annual basic salary (£22.00ph)
- Permanent 12-hour night shifts
- 4 on, 4 off, followed by 4 on, 2 off
- Additional 12-hour overtime shifts available on selected Friday or Monday nights
- Overtime paid at £27.50 per hour
- 28 days' holiday including bank holidays
- On-site parking
- Permanent employment within a busy fleet operation
