RH Commercial Vehicles is looking for an experienced technician to join the nightshift at our recently redeveloped Northampton workshop.
If you’re a skilled technician who enjoys working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work, this could be the trial opportunity for you.
Working on a dedicated night shift, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers’ vehicles are serviced, maintained, and repaired efficiently, helping keep their operations running smoothly.
Set Nightshift
- 50 hours a week
- Monday – Friday: 20:00 – 06:30
- Competitive hourly rate | OTE: Up to £50,000

As a Nightshift Technician, You Will
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of commercial vehicles
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Work to DVSA and manufacturer standards
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance
- Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Support workshop productivity and vehicle uptime
- Maintain a safety and organized working environment
- Keep up to date with technical developments and training opportunities

Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Commercial Vehicle Repair, or equivalent
- Proven experience working on HGVs, commercial vehicles, or similar equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards
- Full UK driving licence
- HGV licence
- Main dealer experience
- Renault Trucks or Isuzu Trucks experience
