SHIFT PATTERN & LOCATION
We’re recruiting a HGV Technician at our site in Crewe:
- Monday – Friday with occasional weekends
- 40 hours a week
- Rotating two weekly shift pattern of 6:00am – 2:00pm and 2:00pm and 10:00pm
Pay & Benefits
- £21.49 Hourly rate plus shift premiums (weekends, bank holidays and between the hours of 6:00pm and 6:00am)

What You’ll Be Doing
As a HGV Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our fleet runs safely, efficiently, and on time. As part of your role, you’ll:
- Keep our HGVs and trailers performing at their best through expert servicing and maintenance that meets the highest safety and performance standards
- Use your technical expertise to accurately diagnose and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical faults
- Respond to breakdowns and reactive maintenance with confidence, delivering effective first-time fixes that keep operations moving
- Work to manufacturer guidelines, using the latest technology and best practices to maintain a reliable, efficient modern fleet
- Maintain clear, accurate records of all work completed, supporting compliance, quality, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll have:
- NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- HGV experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Class 1 license is desirable, but if you don’t have it, we will support with this
