Location: Aberdeen
Salary: £45,630 Basic + OTE £50,000
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday + Saturday overtime available

ISQ Recruitment is working with a well-established commercial vehicle operation seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their busy Aberdeen workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and high-performing team within a fast-paced environment focused on delivering exceptional service standards.
This role offers the chance to work on a modern fleet of heavy goods vehicles using the latest diagnostic equipment and systems. You will play a key role in maintaining fleet reliability, ensuring vehicles are serviced and repaired to the highest standards, and contributing to overall workshop efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on HGV vehicles
- Complete routine servicing in line with manufacturer schedules
- Utilise diagnostic systems and workshop technology effectively
- Carry out vehicle inspections, safety checks, and final testing
- Attend breakdowns and perform roadside repairs where required
- Ensure warranty parts are correctly identified and processed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Support and mentor apprentices and junior team members
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as an HGV Technician
- Previous experience within a dealership or fleet workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
