HGV Technician Opportunity
We are looking for a HGV Technician looking for the chance to further their career and become a vital member of the team. You will have the opportunity to earn good money, work for a company investing in its team, site, and business and also investing in you. This role will give you the opportunity to obtain a HGV License and your IRTEC qualification should you want to.

Job Description
HGV Technician, HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic: commercial vehicle, LGV, HGV, fleet
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing HGVs, light vehicles, and trailers
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
- Preparing vehicles for MOT
- Attending roadside breakdowns when required
- Working closely with the parts department
- Completing job cards and workshop paperwork accurately
- Keeping your technical knowledge up to date through ongoing training
Person Specification
HGV Technician, HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic: commercial vehicle, LGV, HGV, fleet
You'll ideally have:
- NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds qualification in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent experience)
- Recent experience working within the motor trade in a similar role
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A full UK driving licence
- An HGV licence would be fantastic, but it's not essential. If you're the right person and don't currently hold one, we'll support you in gaining your licence after six months.

We are an independent workshop that can service and repair any make of car, van, or truck. We provide complete fleet support or single vehicle solutions for both car and commercial vehicles across Peterborough and surrounding areas.
