The Environment:
Blackmore Commercials Ltd was established in 1985 and is a family-run business based at Colwick, Nottingham. Offering services, maintenance, and repairs to DVLA standards for all types of vehicles in the commercial industry.
To Join Us:
- A technical qualification relating to commercial vehicles (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent)
- A valid full car driving license required - essential
- An HGV license required – preferred but not essential
- Own Tools Required
- A good knowledge of vehicle makes and an understanding of electronics and diagnostics
- To be efficient, methodical, organized, and disciplined.
- Flexibility – able to prioritize your own workload whilst supporting the team
- To be responsive and willing to learn, receive training, and develop both yourself and those around you
- The ability and motivation to work on your own initiative.
- A broad understanding of commercial vehicles ideally having at least 3 years’ experience
- Experience in using R2C – preferred but not essential
- Experience in preparing job cards and service sheets accurately.

Work Schedule:
Job Types: Full-time or part-time, Permanent
Monday – Friday:
- Any hours worked each week (up to 40) during the hours of 7.00 am – 6.00 pm will be paid at standard rate.
- After 8 hours worked each day, the overtime rate will be applied.

Saturdays:
- Working hours 07.00 am - 1.00 pm, if worked, the overtime rate will be applied.
