We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established company based in Great Dunmow.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a stable role with the potential to secure a permanent position after an initial temporary period.
The Role
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs.
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults.
- Completing inspections in line with DVSA standards.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records.
- Working as part of a professional workshop team to keep the fleet roadworthy.

Requirements
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) are desirable.
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- A strong commitment to health and safety.
- A Class 1 or Class 2 licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
