My client, a forward thinking and customer focused vehicle management business, is looking for an experienced HGV Technician to work within a small team based from their workshop in Welwyn Garden City.
About the Role
The main purpose of the role is to undertake service and repair work on cars, LGV AND HGVs in a safe and efficient manner achieving the highest possible standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities
- To accurately undertake servicing and repairs of vehicles, whilst detecting and diagnosing any additional faults, ensuring that all work is completed safely and to customers complete satisfaction.
- To work effectively within the Workshop team to ensure industry-leading standards of vehicle servicing/repair and customer care satisfaction at all times.
- Driving duties as and when required.
- To diagnose faults and test vehicles utilising equipment available, using recognised test procedures and techniques.
- To ensure all job-related documentation is clear and concise.
- Carry out and document vehicle safety Inspections on cars, LGV, HGVs and ancillary equipment.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding through experience and training of the repair and servicing techniques of vehicles to industry standard and contract requirements. Extensive experience in repairing Car/LGV, HGVs
