HGV Trailer Mechanic & Welder | Ballymena HQ | Full-Time
Keep one of Northern Ireland's leading transport fleets moving.
TST Group is an established, award-winning transport and logistics company delivering large-scale international transport, logistics and warehousing from our depots in Ballymena (HQ), Birmingham and London. Our fleet is growing, and we're looking for a skilled HGV Trailer Mechanic to join our busy workshop team at our Ballymena headquarters.

What you'll be doing
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGV trailers across our large and varied fleet
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic systems and hands-on fault-finding
- Completing fabrication and welding repairs on trailers and chassis
- Carrying out safety inspections and helping keep the fleet roadworthy and compliant
- Keeping accurate records of inspections, repairs and parts used
- Working alongside the transport team to keep downtime to a minimum
What we're looking for
- Proven experience working on commercial vehicles and HGV trailers
- Confidence using diagnostic equipment and fault-finding techniques
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Experience in a busy, fast-paced workshop
- A strong eye for detail and a commitment to safety
- Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team

Nice to have
- HGV (Class 1 or 2) licence, though this is not essential
- A recognised qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
