We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Workshop Driver to join a busy commercial vehicle operation in Dartford.
This is a key position within the workshop, helping to ensure vehicles are moved safely and efficiently around the site and returned to customers when required.
The role would suit an experienced HGV Driver who is comfortable working within a fast-paced workshop or transport environment and enjoys a varied, hands-on position.
The Role
- Moving HGVs and commercial vehicles around the yard and workshop
- Positioning vehicles ready for servicing, maintenance and repair
- Signing vehicles in and out of the site
- Ensuring vehicles are parked and stored safely
- Liaising with Service Reception and Workshop Controllers regarding vehicle movements and keys
- Returning completed vehicles to customers when required
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop
- Maintaining high standards of safety across the site

The site can become extremely busy, so you'll need to be comfortable managing multiple vehicle movements throughout the day.
What We're Looking For
- A valid HGV Class 1 licence
- Previous experience working as an HGV Driver
- No more than 6 current points on your driving licence
- No DR10 convictions
- A good understanding of driver regulations and road transport legislation
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- The ability to use your own initiative and work independently
