HGV Yard Driver – Permanent Full-Time Role
Location: Glasgow Depot (G32 8EY) Contract: Permanent (Full Time) Shift Pattern: 5-day on, 2-day off – 6 PM to 4 AM (Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday)
Salary & Benefits:
- Base Rate: £17.30 per hour
- Weekly Shunter Supplement: +£20
- Overtime Rates:
- Hours worked over contract: £19.46/hour
- Saturday: £21.92/hour
- Sunday: £28.42/hour
About the Role
We are seeking HGV Yard Drivers for our Müller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business at our Glasgow Depot.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate onsite movements – Ensure safe and efficient bay operations using all necessary equipment
- Prioritise safety – Respect all road users and uphold compliance standards
- Conduct thorough vehicle/trailer checks – Identify and report non-compliant units for maintenance
- Assess & mitigate risks – Prevent workplace hazards and maintain a high standard of safety

Essential Skills & Experience
- Mandatory:
- Terberg experience (essential)
- Class 1 HGV Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Driving Card
- No more than 6 minor points on licence (no CDs, DDs, DRs, or INs)
- Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable with physical work
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Positive attitude with strong initiative
