AR Wholesale Ltd is a family-owned business and one of the largest independent pet and equestrian wholesalers in the country. We supply pet and equestrian feed, accessories, and supplements to independent retailers nationwide. Regular deliveries and a wide product range at competitive prices are central to our service. A dedicated team of account managers, warehouse staff, delivery drivers, and buyers work together to provide first-class customer service.

Role Description:

This is a full-time, HGV Driver role based from Stokesley. The HGV Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to deliver pet and equestrian products to customers, following assigned routes and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading goods, completing delivery documentation, performing basic vehicle checks, and communicating with the warehouse and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. The role also involves adhering to all relevant transport and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized vehicle, and representing AR Wholesale Ltd professionally providing first-class customer service when interacting with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to safely manage loading and unloading of goods, with attention to product care and efficient handling.
  • CPC qualification is essential, and a good level of fitness is required as it can be a physically demanding role.
  • Clean driving record and strong commitment to road safety and responsible vehicle operation.
  • Reliable time management skills and the ability to follow delivery schedules and route plans.
  • Good communication skills and professional customer service when dealing with retailers and team members.
  • Physical ability to handle manual tasks associated with deliveries, including lifting and moving stock.
  • Previous experience in wholesale, distribution, or logistics is beneficial.
