About The Role
Based in Coalville, this full-time temporary position for a HIAB Driver pays £19 to £20 per hour, with an immediate start available through Pertemps Leicester Industrial. Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) HIAB Driver to work for our client based in Coalville. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HIAB driver looking for ongoing work at an excellent rate of £20.00 per hour.🚚
The Role
As a Class 1 HIAB Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving a Class 1 (C+E) HGV vehicle
- Operating a vehicle-mounted HIAB crane
- Completing deliveries to customers and sites
- Loading and unloading materials safely using the HIAB
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Completing delivery paperwork
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service
- Complying with all Drivers’ Hours, WTD and health & safety regulations

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
- Valid HIAB / Crane qualification
- Previous Class 1 HIAB experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of Drivers’ Hours and WTD regulations
- Maximum points subject to licence check
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
