Role Description
The High-End Seamstress role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Woking, with some work from home acceptable depending on tasks and project needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Sewing and assembling garments
- Paying attention to fit
- Working with delicate and luxury fabrics
- Hand-finishing
- Applying intricate details
- Ensuring all garments meet the company’s quality standards

The seamstress will collaborate with designers and other team members, maintain accurate records of work, and manage timelines to ensure client orders are completed on schedule. Careful handling of materials, use of industrial and domestic sewing machines, and consistent quality checks are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications
- Strong garment construction skills.
- Proficiency with sewing techniques using both hand stitching and sewing machines, especially on delicate and luxury fabrics.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and quality control, with the ability to produce neat, durable, and aesthetically refined finishes.
- Experience working in a bespoke, couture, bridal, or high-end fashion environment, or equivalent professional sewing experience.
- Good communication skills for working with clients and team members, including the ability to interpret design ideas and provide fit guidance.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain clear work records.
- Ability to work both on-site in Woking and from home when appropriate, maintaining reliability, confidentiality, and professional standards.
- Relevant training or qualifications in fashion, tailoring, dressmaking, or textiles are beneficial, though strong demonstrable experience may be considered in place of formal education.
