Business Development Manager
This Business Development Manager role will work as part of a cross-functional team from account management, application engineers, service, and product management to drive growth in high power, programmable DC power supply business across Datacentre Power Infrastructure and Grid Modernization. The role will give a successful candidate the opportunity to develop and drive deep engagements with key customers and market makers, collaborating internally with key teams in the commercial and leadership organizations.
Responsibilities
- Develop ecosystem mapping and strategic business development plan of key customers to grow high power programmable DC power supply business in Datacentre Power and Grid Modernization, alongside the account management team.
- Analyze market data to identify key trends and major long-term projects at market makers, opening doors to build a sustainable business funnel.
- Work with account management and product management teams to drive strategic growth initiatives at key accounts, building strong, long-term, and trusted relationships with customers.
- Support marketing and sales prospecting activities to identify new business opportunities and pursue new customer acquisition for high power business in the assigned territory.
- Provide expert advice on Tektronix/EA high power solutions to customers for solution in datacentre and grid applications across workflows from R&D to end-of-line production.
- Manage complex, long-term sales projects, liaising between account management, engineering, and customers.
- Maintain overall visual management of key opportunities in the territory, including forecasting of business.
- Act as the voice of the customer into our product management and engineering organizations to help drive new product definition and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with extended technical and service teams to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for customers.

Qualifications
- Technical Degree, e.g., Electronic Engineering or a similar field with a strong knowledge of power electronics.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in technical sales and/or business development.
- At least 5 years’ experience working in either datacentre power infrastructure, renewables, or grid industries.
- Strong understanding of 800V DC with experience working in either the high power rack or infrastructure industry.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills – the ability to successfully lead complex projects from inception to conclusion and balance multiple projects/deliverables.
- Interest in the business, industry, and economic trends. Ability to prepare competitor analysis, market trends, and associated commentary to senior management.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and with teams is required.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities are required, with strong communication skills in English. Additionally, German and/or French would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct VOC and synthesize into meaningful insights.
- Ability to learn complex technology/clinical applications and take initiative.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
