High-Ticket Business Development Executive (Remote | Base Salary + Commission After Probation)
Orchyn is an AI transformation consultancy helping ambitious businesses implement AI, automate costly operational bottlenecks and build long-term automation partnerships.
We are hiring driven people to generate and qualify opportunities through outbound calling. This role suits someone who enjoys speaking directly with business owners and senior decision-makers, can earn attention quickly and wants to build serious B2B sales capability in one of the fastest-growing commercial sectors.
You will open conversations around AI transformation and automation projects worth £15,000 to £100,000+. Your role is to identify real business problems, establish whether Orchyn can help, qualify the opportunity properly and book a strong discovery call with the founders.
Training, Systems and Support
You will not be expected to work from a vague script or figure it out alone. Every new dialler and setter receives structured training through Orchyn’s live internal platform, including:
- A nine-section core course
- Practical sales training
- A dedicated dialler and setter handbook
- Role-specific playbooks
- Industry intelligence relevant to the businesses you call
You will be trained on:
- Orchyn’s AI transformation and automation offer
- The industries, companies and decision-makers you are contacting
- How to open a cold call naturally and earn the right to continue the conversation
- How to identify operational problems that AI and automation can solve
- Qualification, objection handling, follow-up and booking strong founder discovery calls
- Using the CRM, Company Bank, call logging and booking system
- The boundaries of your role, including what to escalate rather than guess or promise

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
