Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We believe everyone should have the foundation of a safe, affordable home.
Location: Hybrid from our London office, E1, with the requirement to travel as needed. We are open to a range of flexible working options, in line with Crisis' Hybrid Working Policy.

About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the stories, propositions and cases for support that inspire major investment in Crisis' work. As Proposition Development Manager, you will lead the creation of compelling fundraising narrative, donor propositions and communications that engage high-value supporters and help secure transformational support.
This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning complex information into powerful fundraising narratives.
Your experience
We are very open to hearing from a range of candidates with different backgrounds. You may be:
- A trusts fundraising professional with strong writing skills who enjoys shaping propositions, funding opportunities and strategic narratives
- A Fundraising Communications Manager, Case for Support Manager or Development Manager, creating compelling fundraising products, campaigns and donor-facing content.
- A senior copywriter, content strategist or journalist with some experience of high value fundraising.
About You
You are an exceptional writer with experience creating high-quality, persuasive content for fundraising, communications or marketing audiences.
- You have developed successful cases for support, fundraising propositions or campaigns that engage and inspire high value supporters.
- You have professional copywriting experience in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
- You are highly organised and able to manage multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.
- You enjoy collaborating across teams and translating complex information into clear, compelling stories and funding opportunities.
- Above all, you are motivated by Crisis' mission and committed to using communications to help end homelessness.

Interview process: Two panel interviews with competency and values-based questions.
Interview date and location: Teams (online), 1st interview between 9 to 4pm on Wednesday 21 October and 2nd short interview between 3.30 to 5pm on Thursday 22nd October for finalists.
