The High Voltage Battery Engineer will support the inspection, testing, diagnosis, and safe handling of lithium-ion battery systems across a range of customer applications. Combining workshop and field-based activities, you will work with battery packs, modules, and energy storage systems, supporting technical operations both on-site and at customer locations across the UK.

The High Voltage Battery Engineer will:

  • Inspect, test, and diagnose lithium-ion battery systems and components.
  • Carry out electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting activities.
  • Support battery pack and module disassembly in line with safe working procedures.
  • Conduct planned maintenance, repairs, and technical assessments.
  • Provide engineering support at customer sites across the UK.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing, inspections, and technical work.
  • Support process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.

The High Voltage Battery Engineer will have:

  • Experience in an electrical, automotive, battery, field service, or engineering role.
  • Experience working with lithium-ion batteries, EV battery packs, or energy storage systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience using electrical test and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and isolation procedures.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
