Our client is a leading fixed income trading platform with a strong franchise across European credit markets. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced High Yield Credit Trader to join their London-based team covering EUR Corporate High Yield bonds.
This is an excellent opportunity for a trader looking to develop their career within a well-established credit business, working alongside experienced sales, research, and trading professionals with exposure to leading institutional investors across Europe. Uniquely, our client is open to candidates spanning from Associate to Executive Director level.
Responsibilities
- Trade and risk-manage a portfolio of European High Yield Corporate bonds.
- Provide liquidity and market colour to institutional clients across the buy-side community.
- Develop and maintain relationships with asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds, insurance companies, and other institutional investors.
- Monitor market developments, issuer-specific events, relative value opportunities, and primary market activity.
- Work closely with High Yield Sales, Research, Syndicate, and Trading teams to identify opportunities and generate revenue.
- Contribute to the development of the firm's High Yield franchise through active client engagement and market-making.
- Analyse market flows, positioning, and trading opportunities across the European leveraged finance universe.

Requirements
- Experience trading European High Yield Credit products gained at a bank or hedge fund.
- Strong understanding of European High Yield markets, credit fundamentals, and market structure.
- Proven track record - ability to manage risk and generate revenues within a trading environment.
- Excellent product knowledge across EUR-denominated High Yield bonds.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative trading floor environment.
