Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Bracknell
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £20,000 - £26,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time (term-time)
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive and forward-thinking school in Bracknell from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting pupil progress and confident in delivering high-quality learning.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support learning across the curriculum and will take responsibility for delivering lessons and interventions, particularly in Maths and/or English.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher
- Provide targeted support and interventions in Maths and/or English
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Assist with planning, assessment, and feedback in collaboration with teaching staff
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Person Specification
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
- 1-4 years' experience working in a school setting
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths and/or English
- Confident leading whole-class learning and small group interventions
- Local to Bracknell
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting pupils and staff
