We are looking for an outstanding HLTA to work within our newly created Beach Cove Resource Provision. This role will work closely with the Lead Teacher of the provision and the school SENCO, to support the educational needs of the students who access the Forest Den.

The successful candidate will hold an HLTA qualification and have significant experience of working with primary aged children who have special educational needs. You will have excellent behaviour management skills and be able to apply trauma-informed practices in helping support children who are anxious or dysregulated.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Beach Cove Resource Provision is based within the school and is a provision set up to support students who have Autism and associated SEMH needs. The learners will have Education, Heath and Care Plans (EHCPs), as well as additional behavioural or emotional needs that mean they find accessing mainstream lessons within the school challenging at times. The pupils taught within the Beach Cove Resource Provision will be supported to access their mainstream learning, as set by their class teacher, but will also be supported to work on individual targets as set out by their EHCP. The children will aspire to attend 50% of their learning in the main school, with the rest of the time in Beach Cove.

The role will also require the successful candidate to liaise and support the lead teacher to deliver high quality lessons within the Beach Cove Resource Provision. The role will be part of our extended pastoral provision for the school and will require the candidate to work with the team to meet and support our families, through informal meetings, EHCP annual reviews and regular individual learning plan reviews.

The hours of work will be 8.30 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday (32.5hrs), term-time only 39 weeks.
