About Our HLTAs

We have a history of supporting HLTAs through high-quality CPD with some moving on to QTS. Our HLTAs are an important and integral part of our school team who provide PPA cover; initial illness cover (3 days) and small group interventions. Two days are never the same – and that brings excitement and enjoyment to the job.

About You

We are looking for a HLTA who:

  • Is motivated by inclusion, equity and the belief that all children can achieve
  • Has excellent behaviour management grounded in empathy, relationships and trauma-informed practice
  • Brings creativity, resilience, and a whole child approach to teaching
  • Works collaboratively within a team
  • Has experience of or willing to become a Forest Leader
  • Maintains high expectations while celebrating small steps of progress
