We are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly skilled, enthusiastic and dedicated HLTA. As part of the role, you will be expected to cover and teach whole classes. Another important aspect of this role, is to organise activities at lunchtime, and line manage support staff during this period.

First Aid at Work qualification would be an advantage.

We are looking for a HLTA who is:

  • Experienced and passionate about working with children
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic and want to make a difference everyday
  • Able to teach (pre-planned) good quality lessons across the primary age range
  • Able to lead and line manage other support staff
  • Able to work as a team, and be flexible to meet the needs of our children
  • Able to maintain our high standards of behaviour, and our inclusive and nurturing ethos
  • Able to develop positive relationships with our children and families

Hanbury Primary School is committed to the welfare and safeguarding of all our children. As part of the appointment procedure, all staff have to undergo a DBS disclosure which will report cautions as well as convictions.
