Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Bexley, South East London Pay: £100 - £120 per day Job Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Temporary Start Date: September 2026
Salary is based on experience and qualifications. Higher rates apply to candidates with significant experience and/or qualifications.
An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bexley this September.
This varied role offers the opportunity to deliver interventions, support teaching and provide whole-class cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English and Maths interventions.
- Lead whole-class lessons when required.
- Support teachers with planning and assessment.
- Help raise attainment through targeted learning support.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
We're Looking For
- HLTA qualification or significant HLTA experience.
- Previous experience within UK primary schools.
- Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Positive, flexible and professional approach.
