Working pattern: Full-time, Term-time only
(As the position is term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

About the Role
Oakwood Primary Academy is looking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Behaviour to join our friendly and supportive team.
This role is offered on a term-time only, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week (8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday)
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to children who may need a little extra support to thrive at school. You will build positive relationships with pupils, help them overcome barriers to learning and support them to develop confidence, resilience and self-regulation. You will work alongside colleagues and families to create a positive, inclusive environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
We Would Love to Hear from You If:
- You have HLTA status, a relevant qualification such as ELSA, or equivalent relevant experience
- You have previous experience in a similar role supporting children and their behaviour, learning and wellbeing
- You are confident in implementing agreed positive behaviour management strategies consistently and effectively
- You have experience of planning and leading teaching and learning activities
- You have a genuine passion about inclusion and helping children reach their potential
- You are enthusiastic, flexible and enjoy being part of a team
