About the Role

Old Park Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their successful team. The role will involve teaching whole classes, covering teachers for PPA, management time, training, and other school development requirements. There will be an expectation to provide feedback to children following the school's feedback policy, and excellent classroom management is vital.

Responsibilities

  • Join a dedicated team to ensure the best start for all pupils
  • Teach whole classes and cover teachers for PPA
  • Provide feedback to children following the school's feedback policy
  • Participate in annual appraisal and whole-school staff development

Salary

  • Grade: Grade E SCP 18 - 25
  • Salary: £32,578 - £37,563 p.a. (Actual salary £25,644 - £30,456 p.a.)

Hours

  • 32.5 hours per week, Term Time plus 5 training days, Monday – Friday

Location

  • Old Park Primary School, Old Park Rd, Wednesbury, WS10 9LX
